In my research on Kandinsky I was fascinated by the forms and the play of his lines, by the colours and surfaces in his works.

I was fascinated by the simplicity and wisdom of the theory he recorded in his books.

Inspired by his work, I went on to produce a series comprising two sets.

The first part pertains to analysing Kandinsky's paintings: I added, removed or isolated themes to create a series of jewellery and clay models.

The other part came after I studied his book "Point and line to plane", when I produced jewels and sculptures starting from each of these elements: the point, the line, and the plane.

My introduction to the work of this great master was crucial in moulding my perception of creative abstraction.
